UCCRP-USC-UNION-LWLCRC Back to School Hotdog Cookout School Supply Drive
Join the UCCRP, along with USC Union and the L.W. Long Community Resource Center, for a Back to School Cookout and School Supply Drive to support Foster Park Elementary.
Help children at Foster Park Elementary be prepared for a successful school year by donating money or needed supplies. The school has provided a needed supplies list and donations can be dropped off at USC Union or the LW Long Center.

Cookout will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday July 23 at the L.W. Long Community Resource Center - 213 West Main St, Union SC 29379.
Coalition Large Group Meeting

Juneteenth Celebration + Historical Marker Dedication and Installation Ceremony
Community-wide Juneteenth Celebration including a historical marker dedication and installation commemorating 9+ lynching victims killed from 1870-1934.
Virtual Church Members Q+A
UCCRP will host a Church Q&A for Pastors and congregations that may have a direct connection to the Black men lynched in Union County, SC. The UCCRP is interested in any oral histories passed down within the Church. We believe these stories are a crucial part of our historic research and would be happy to assist with archiving these stories for future generations.
Virtual Descendant Q + A Session
Are you descended from one of the Black men who were lynched or their families? Are you descended from the families of Black leaders and legislatures during Reconstruction, such as Junius Mobley, Samuel Nuckles, or Monroe C. Long? Were your ancestors part of the Black community in Union County at the time of the lynchings? Do you have knowledge or recollections of these lynchings passed down through your family?

Union Jail Raid and Massacre Twilight Vigil
We will commemorate and remember the 13 Black men who were killed by the Ku Klux Klan in January and February of 1871 during the Union Jail Raid and Massacre.
